Electrification of transport is the largest near-term growth sector for battery technology. StorageX faculty develop capabilities to target key technical challenges that stand in the way of widespread adoption of affordable, practical electric vehicles. These include testing of full vehicle battery packs and modules, as well as high throughput parallel testing capabilities for cells of various formats (cylindrical, pouch, prismatic) to study performance under typical electric vehicle use cases.
